Career Summary

After qualifying with a provincial firm in the UK, Andy spent 15 years obtaining experience with Big 4 Firms in Zambia, the Bahamas and the British Virgin Islands. Thereafter he founded the BDO Firm in the British Virgin Islands in 1993.

Andy has over forty years of experience in providing accounting, auditing, consulting and restructuring services to clients in a wide range of industries, of which, twenty-eight years has been gained in the British Virgin Islands. During this time, he has acquired significant experience in the audits of statutory bodies, funds and captive insurers.

In addition to bringing BDO to the British Virgin Islands, Andy has also opened BDO Member Firms in the Cayman Islands (Georgetown) and Trinidad and Tobago (Port of Spain) and currently acts as a Senior Partner in both firms.

Apart from his lifelong commitment to football, Andy loves to travel and also enjoys boating, swimming and spending quality time with his wife Arletta, three daughters and 9 grandchildren. Andy is involved extensively in the community through a wide range of organisations, most notably actig as as a past president of the Rotary Club of Tortola.

• Represented and coached the BVI national football team.
• Also acted as President of the BVI Football Association for 7 years, taking the Association from a non internationally recognized body to a full member of FIFA in 5 years. He continues to be actively involved in the promotion of youth football in the community.
• He has acted as Treasurer of a wide range of non-profit organizations in the BVI
