Career Summary

Aryanne Desmarais is originally from Québec, Canada and obtained her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2005. She moved to the British Virgin Islands in early 2006 as an audit senior and quickly moved to a manager position at a Big 4 firm. She joined BDO in Janaury 2010 as manager in charge of a growing portfolio of hedge fund clients.

For the last four years, she focused on serving financial services’ clients, mainly covering hedge funds over a range of structures and investment strategies. Over the years, she helped her clients to complying with IFRS, US GAAP or UK GAAP as well as complying with ISE, CFTC/NFA or CISX regulations.
